FLORIDA GETAWAY

Thomas Lessor left Las Vegas for Miami to get away from it all -- in fact, he felt certain he was going to get away with murder. But he was wrong, and the Las Vegas PD soon contacted Miami with a warrant for his arrest.

Hot on his trail, the Miami CSIs are called to the scene of his abandoned cara car that's been abandoned in spirit but not in body. And on a pleasant and secluded Miami beach, a young couple is about to make a gruesome discovery.

Editorial : About the Author
Max Allan Collins is a New York Times bestselling author of original mysteries, a Shamus award winner and an experienced author of movie adaptions and tie-in novels. His graphic novel Road to Perdition has been made into a major motion picture by Tom Hank’s production company. He is also the author of the tie-in novel series based on the original CSI.

For whatever reason I found this one easier to understand. It is, of course, required reading for any Ives enthusiast, and will provide hours of pleasurable insight and chuckles, helping his music to speak to us even more directly. "Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1) After desiring this gift and asking the Spirit for it (as the scripture is an admonition to all believers), it's time to tune in and step out. Kendry is an awesome character to read about. Indeed, if the author were alive today and rewrote the book, the final chapter would summarize the rather offensive and ultimately successful attempt to change the name from something we grads cherished to something many of us loathe.)

Realizing that I'm writing for a very few potential readers, I'll simply close by saying "buy this book" if you're an MCG grad, regardless of whether you were in the MD, PhD, DDS, or other health science programs.. Thi
