This book is well worth reading.. This book gives a great depiction of what it is like to be manic on a GRAND scale. This author does not assume that jazz is the only style of music in existence, like almost every other book I have on the subject.. It makes a decent reference due to its ambition. Some of the text may be too harsh for such a young reader: "Papa yanks me into an alley. The bench was cleaned early, but the star was Bud Shaw. I can see the concept of trying to relate stress related issues to PMS, and handling it through methods mentioned in the Bible. Brown has gathered together some of the most eloquent voices in ecocritical animal studies today, from Christopher Hollingsworth to Nicky Coutts, to Brown himself.
