The thing even isit's based on this guy's (journalist now I believe) actual life! The story about his parents on a sail boat is incredibly funnyand some things you will recognize from your own family.. The stories are all unique and reinforce what a great guy he really was, not just on the radio. It is neither an all too common "How To" instruction manual on what f-stop to choose or what lens to put on your camera, nor is it yet another "This is how it is done in Photoshop" guidebook (though some allusions to both sets of "problems" are sprinkled throughout). The end game was written early on; what was left was discovering which paths the story would follow.. An awesome selection that shows the breadth and facile charm that attracts me to Steinberg's work.. Between deciding to act as an impostor, classifying all humans as "Debbies," and finding alternate uses for non-playable items he was previously given, Ooko's right on the mark.
