I purchased this book for a friend who checked it out from our local library. Gardiner has a keen sense of what is most relevant for each business area he looks at in this valuable book. I browse the reference section of my local bookstore looking for any books to assist with my writing goals. A civilization that is based on these activities should be known as animalistic. Only at the end of the book does Barr devote a small chapter to equipment and software - which is just fine.
ADDENDUM: I've finished the book, and my first impressions are well confirmed. There are many questions, however not at the level I would expect on the NCC exam. I am an artist who loves bears and thank Sylvia Dolson for bringing them to us in her beautiful book..
