This is an awesome gift for any youngster. This book was really uplifting, positive, and refreshing, presenting so many honest, hard-working, caring people who constantly help each other out! I would have liked to meet many of these people myself. Sure, it's interesting, but not as a calendar. Joyce is starting to remind me of Johanna Lindsay, one of the great romantic writers. Reading “Journey Within My Heart” is a joy in itself.
By the way, I fell in love with the South just imbibing its pieces through the author’s writing.
Layers
But it’s just the first, superficial layer of this book’s virtues. Reading this book is like listening to soothing music. When the war comes to Kendry's town and takes her mother with humans and paras alike Kendry and her best and only friend Axel team up with who's left to save them. It would have been helpful..
