Before I'd even realized it, I had effortlessly read over 100 pages of this no fluff, no filler tale!
Don't look for the braggadocio commonly found in books written by officers. Viewing and reading the book cannot help but bring peace to your heart and an ache for the safety and well being of these most intelligent and beautiful creatures. And one more thing--by the time I reached the end, I was truly moved. The comments at times elicit a smile or a laugh or raised eyebrow. No issues.. Harrison said over and over that she left Cambridge because she could not take it anymore (by the time she left in 1922 she had suffered unbearable heartbreak and disappointment there). The demonstrations are excellent and so easy to follow and I love the way encouragement is always given before asking the student to try the behaviour a different way - particularly not saying ANYTHING.
Brilliant book and I would recommend it for any beginner to train their dog and to achieve behavio
